"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello, did you receive my mail

My names are Barrister Javier Penas,I am an attorney working with a Spainish Law firm here in Spain,
I need your assistance in repatriating $9.5m left in a Trunk Box by my late client.I got your contact
via the public records while searching for a trusted person who will stand as next of kin of my late client.

He deposited One Trunk Box/Diplomatic Personal Treasure that contain $9.5m with a Financial institution here
in Spain before him and his family died in Tsunami catastrophe, which occurred in December 2004.As the attorney,
the Financial institution has mandated me to present a member of his family(inheritor) to make Claims or the vault
will be declared unserviceable and will be confiscated to the government treasury as unclaim.

After abortive search for a direct family member which came to no avail,
my suggestion to you is that I will like you to stand as the next of kin so that
I can present you to the safe keeping company as the beneficiary.
Be kind to get back to me via my private email:javierpenas@w.cn for further clarification.

Best Regards,
Javier Penas [Esq}
