"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Madam / Sir,

I am Dr. Mike Moyo; a citizen of the Republic of Sudan, it is very unfortunate that my wife and three children lost their lives along the Sudan-Chad Border in 2005 while being pursued by the Janjaweed Rebels. My several attempts to re-locate outside the Darfur Region of Sudan became void until I was recently helped by the Red Crescent to cross the border to Chad . But right now, I am in Accra,  Ghana on a sick bed due to chronic cardiologist ailment that had defied all medication since I fell sick in 2006.

PROPOSITION:
I decided to contact you purely on the personal conviction of trust and confidence that we can work together even now as I lay sick in the hospital. I want you to give me the needed assistance by allowing me to present you as my foreign partner and co - owner of a trunk box of cash amount of 12 million Euro that I have since deposited in a security safe deposit box with a reputable bank in Accra - Ghana.

I need you to stand with me in agreement and in full co-operation as I do not have any power to retrieve this valuables because I have already signed a Contract Bond that the fund should be sent to my partner overseas for investment purposes. This cannot be changed under ANY Law especially now that I lay hopeless on my hospital having spent the little I had on Hospital bills and my only hope of full recovery is an advanced treatment on overseas hospital. Therefore, If I do not die before the transfer is executed, you must assist me to come to your country immediately after the transfer has been effected.

Already, I  have concluded all arrangement towards achieving my aim by appointing you as my foreign partner and also completed arrangement with the bank for the transfer/ relocation of the fund out of this country for investment into a lucrative business in your country.

I have set aside 55% of the total fund for myself (for treatment and investment ),  20% for your assistance, 5% for all expenses to be incurred both local and international in the course of this transaction, while we shall collectively donate the remaining balance of 20% to Relief Organizations and Charity Organizations .

It is my intention to achieve this transfer in a legitimate way, all I required is your honest co-operation,confidentiality and trust to enable us see this transaction through successfully.

If this proposal is acceptable to you, kindly e-mail the following information to me or call my mobile number: +233 - 244-774480.

1. Private telephone number and fax number.
2. Your residential address.
3. Identification / occupation.

Further details awaits you upon a positive response from you.

Yours faithfully,

Dr.Mike Moyo
