"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: please get back to me for details

My Dear,

I am Saif Fares from United Arab Emirates and i am contacting you over a great
opportunity that requires our ultimate confidentiality to conclude.

Two Libyans are in desperate need on someone of a reputable character that can
help them safe guide their funds.

Please, i need your confidentiality in this as they would not want anything to
link them with the said funds as that is why they have contacted me to take
charge of this.

The funds in question (US$50M) have safely been moved out of Libya and are
presently lodged in three (3) different locations now.

Please, even if you are not interested, i beg you to keep this confidential
but if you are interested, i will be ready to discuss this transaction in
details with you.

You may reach me through my private email address: sfares1948@yahoo.com

My best regards,

Saif Fares
