"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I see the surprise this mail will bring to you but it’s the true and
nothing by the true.

I’m Michael Raymond from great British, I work with the United Nations
diplomatic immunity here in Accra-Ghana been transfer some days ago.

And my duties here in Africa is to monitor transaction / delivery of
consignments and funds that belong to foreign beneficiary and that of
African all over the world, and for those who has paid money to
governmental ministries, banks and diplomat and they have not yet receive
their consignments, funds and ATM card, your time has come and there is
nothing for you to be afraid for.

This Unit was setup by the United Nations Secretary-General Mr. Ban
Ki-moon, to make such that all foreigner / African who have past through
pains / suffering should be pay through MT103 telegraphic wire transfer,
their funds should be deliver to their doorstep or place of country as a
consignment by a diplomat or ATM card should be post to them through
courier service.

This is to bring to your notice that your name is among the names of
beneficiaries choosing by this organization to be pay the sum of
$8.5million (Eight Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollar
Only) as a part payment to compensation all the suffering and pains you
has gone through during the period of retrieving your funds, consignments
or ATM Cards.

You are therefore, advise to stop any other communication concerning the
release of your funds, consignments or ATM card within and outside, except
you are advise to proceed by this body after proper confirmation with
whosoever that you are dealing with.
