"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

How are you today, I wish to inform you the incident which happen to me on my trip to deliver your two trunk consignment boxes from Libya and I missed your contact details  after leave the Gaddafis resident in Libya, this is a very long story any way , and have been waiting for your respond to contact me so I can give you my schedule as I am on transit here in London, because I did not get the direct flight to your Country, from my departure country, since you could not respond back to me quickly and I have to return back with my returning ticket so I will not be stranded here.
 
I wish to inform you that your consignment box is been deposited here in London with one of the Security Company and you are advised to contact me  immediately for more information about your consignment box, and to inform you that your two trunk consignment boxes was value for Four Million United States Dollars Each from Major Kamel Hassan Personal Assistance to Colonel Mammar Gaddafi of Libya, all the necessary documentation that will backup your consignment boxes for your Claim is attached to the consignment boxes.
