"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Dear Graham Robert Fund Trustee,

Dear Fund Trustee,

This is in regard to the pending Graham Robert trust fund amounting to the
sum of (155,600,000.00 USD); I have been expecting positive response from
your end as regard the completion of the Graham Robert fund transfer, but
all to no avail. I wonder why it's so difficult for you to meet the
transferring bank requirement for the transfer of Graham Robert fund.

I quite understand that times are hard and it's not easy to come up with
money this days, but I still believe that for a transaction of this
magnitude, you should do all you can to have the fund transferred to your
account. You quite understand that the fee required to complete the fund
transfer is certainly nothing compared to this trust fund that was willed
to you for charity.

My major concern is that the fund be used for charity to better the life
of people in need as was instructed by late Graham Robert, this was Graham
Robert dying wish and as such, it must be met. I would really like you to
indicate your interest and commitment to actualizing this goal as was
instructed by Graham Robert.

You are to note that it is not possible for us to transfer the funds
without meeting the transferring bank directives. It is totally not
possible for us to deduct from the funds to cover the cost. I will like
you to inform us of the reasons for this delay and to inform us if you
wish to decline this transfer or to continue with the transfer process by
paying the bank charges as that is the only delay in this transaction for
now. You are to act fast in this regard otherwise you may end up
forfeiting the Graham Robert trust fund. You are to inform me of the exact
time you will be able to raise this fee otherwise you will be declined of
this transaction soonest.

I await response to this email ASAP.

Have a nice day
Charles Stanley
