"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello dear,

I have been waiting for you ever since to contact me for your bank draft of One Million United States Dollars($1,000,000.00), but I haven`t heard from you since that time, so I went and deposited the draft with the EXPRESS DIPLOMATIC COURIER SERVICES. Meanwhile, I've traveled out of the country for a course and will not be back until late October. I advise therefore that you contact the EXPRESS DIPLOMATIC COURIER SERVICES as soon as possible to know when they will commence the delivery of the draft to you before it expires. For your information, I have paid the delivery charges, insurance coverage and the clearance certificate fee of the draft showing that it is not connected to drug money nor meant to sponsor any terrorist activities in your Country.

The only money you will need to send to the EXPRESS DIPLOMATIC COURIER SERVICES to deliver the draft direct to your door step or office or as u may advise is ($280.00) US Dollars only, being security keeping fee of the courier company so far. Again, don't be made to pay more than $280.00 for the delivery.

Find below the contact information of the Express Diplomatic Courier Services:

Contact Person: Mr. Philip Edmond
Email: edcs@diplomats.com
Phone: +27 797 014 837

Finally, make sure that you reconfirm your Postal / delivery address and direct telephone numbers on how they will reach you on arrival to avoid any mistake on the delivery and inform them to give you the tracking number once the draft is despatched. Try to contact them as soon as you receive this mail to avoid further delay and remember to pay them their security keeping fee of $280.00 US Dollars for their immediate action.

Yours Faithfully,
Collins Anderson
