"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Beneficiary ,

RE: SOFT LOAN FOR YOU TO SETTLE ALL YOUR CHARGES / FEES / LEVIES etc

This is to inform you that the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in pursuance of their determination to see that you receive your funds has directed our Organization (DNB Finance Inc.) to arrange for a soft loan for some selected beneficiaries who are yet to receive their funds, the soft loan is strictly for payment of charges / fees / levies etc that are required by Financial Institutions holding the funds of such beneficiaries.

THE TERMS / CONDITIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS;
1. The soft loan would only be repaid at 2% interest AFTER the beneficiary has received his funds in his designated bank account and not before.

2. The soft loan would be given to the beneficiary directly by the accredited loan company or financier.

3. The soft loan is strictly for payment of charges or fees related to the release of beneficiary's funds.

4. The soft loan would be given to the beneficiary in any form available to the Financier or Loan Company, either by cash, traveler's cheque or bank transfer.

5. Most importantly, you must STOP all forms of communication with all the people you have been contacting regarding your funds until your funds gets to your designated bank account, whether Attorneys, Bankers, Partners or otherwise, this is to forestall disruption to this process as we would not entertain any form of distraction from any quarters

You are required to respond to this message within 24hours of receipt if you want to be one of the few approved recipients of this soft loan as there are many beneficiaries that have already indicated interest in taking the loan but approval would only be on merit and first come first serve basis.

Meanwhile, be informed that your funds has been redirected to a Central Financial Pool in the European Central Bank and would be processed and released to you through the direct supervision of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and our office (DNB Finance Inc.) in a bid to make sure that you receive your long overdue funds in this third financial quarter of this year.

We sincerely apologized for all the inconvenience that you might have gone through in your bid to receive your funds in the past, if you have any enquiry, do not hesitate to write or call the direct telephone number as stated above.

Thanks.

Sincerely Yours,
Warren Smith (Credit / Loan Manager)
