"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am 21 years old orphan from Sierra Leone but writing you presently from Cote D'Ivoire where i was with my parents before their sudden death that took them away from me .





I decided to contact you to stand by my side to secure the sum of (USD$3.1M) I Inherited from my late father. My late Father was a Rich Business man based here in Cote D'Ivoire, my late father invested in Gold and Diamond exportation from here to any part of the world under the regime of former president Laurent Gbagbo but he was killed by the rebels in Bouake during the war heer in Cote D'Ivoire. I hope you are aware of the war which has ravaged this country Cote D'Ivoire for the past one year now .It was in one of this attacks by the rebels that led to the death of my Father.
