"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: UAE INVESTMENT PROJECT EXHIBITION‏‏

Salam Alaikum,

May Allah be with you.

Established in 1976, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) is a globally diversified investment institution that is wholly owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi.

ADIA manages a substantial global investment portfolio, which is highly diversified across more than two-dozen asset classes and sub-categories, including quoted equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, alternatives and infrastructure.

ADIA's investment strategy involves looking beyond individual economic cycles and focusing on strategies aimed at capturing secular trends and outperforming the market over the long term.

ADIA Investment opportunities at Abu Dhabi range from investment affiliated with the industries, such as direct investment in tourism, aviation, real estate, business investment, industrialization and marine based projects.

ADIA is providing middle and back office outsourcing of fund administration services representing over $70 billion (Seventy Billion United States Dollars) in committed capital for various investment opportunities at the Abu Dhabi, UAE and we wish to re-invest this fund by putting it into the management of private businessmen and corporations with good business ideas that can generate at-least 10% ROI per annum over maximum of 5 years duration.

ADIA seeks private equity partners to acquire value-added multinational properties in the World's growth markets. We are looking for equity partners, Fund raisors and agents who will pay up to 4.5% interest and part equity position with a five year hold. In 2016, we plan on acquiring up to $500 Billion in high-quality, low risk assets and investments to capitalize on the current market cycle.

Our investment strategy requires a careful balance between discipline and flexibility: discipline to ensure the portfolio remains closely aligned with our long-term vision; and flexibility to react to major changes ahead of long-term trends, such as our decision to begin investing in alternatives as early as 1986 and in private equity in 1989.

The Strategy Unit regularly reviews the neutral benchmark and suggests any necessary changes to either new or existing asset classes and their respective weightings. It also researches and proposes medium-term strategies around the benchmark with the objective of enhancing returns.

This may include occasional "off-benchmark" opportunistic investments. Its recommendations are subject to rigorous internal review and must ultimately be approved by the Managing Director.

Once approved, ADIA's investment partners and portfolio managers are given mandates with specific benchmarks, guidelines and excess return targets for the minimum of 5 years as per their direct financial need for the proposed investment.

ADIA is acting as a lender and the loan will be disbursed on a clear loan of 4.5% interest annually to the equity partners for their investment projects.

We focus on seed capital, early-stage, start-up ventures, existing LLC and total completion and expansion of investment projects with immediate funding. We have extensive corporate and private business investments at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).

We are privately looking for fiduciary agents and management experts who will be willing to act as investment portfolio holders and administrators.
