"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

the fraudulent activities going on in the West Africa sub-region with security's agent
and diplomats who has been delaying people's funds, consignment and valuables in their
custody and demand outrageous fees to get their consignment released to them.
 
This email is to all people that have been scammed in any part of the world, the UNITED
NATIONS have agreed to compensate them with the sum of £2,500,000,00GBP. We found your email
ID in our list and that is why we are contacting you, these have been agreed upon and
have been duly signed.
 
To receive this £2.500,000,00GBP compensation Fund through Bank Draft, you should send your
full Name, telephone number and your correct mailing address. It is either you travel to
collect the Bank Draft to the location approved or you pay for the delivery/shipment.
