"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

FROM: CHRIS AND JOY

Dearest,

I am Chris Amato the only son of late former director of finance,Chief Williams Amato of Sierra-Leone, diamond and mining corporation.  My late father Chief Williams Amato diverted this fund acquired from the over influencing of price of Les/purchasing of raw materials, and has deposited the money with a BANK here in ACCRA BY FIXED DEPOSIT FORM,where I am residing under political asylum with my younger sister Joy.

Now we are contacting you to help us stand and act as our late father foreign business partner to the bank, to receive the money into your bank account for us, and also help me and my younger sister to come over to your country to continue with our education, while you will be helping us for the investment of the money in your country until we finish our education and join you in the investment.

The said amount is (Seven Million Dollars) $7 Million. I am compensating you with 15% of the total money amount, and 5% mapped out, in case of any necessary expenses you might in cure during this transaction including your telephone calls.

My late father Chief Williams Amato gave me the photocopies of the certificate of deposit issued to him by the BANK on the date of deposit, and he called me closer to his bed side before his call to glory(R.I.P)that we should pray to God first, before contacting any foreigner, since this is the only legacy we are inheriting from him.

We really wants to invest this our money in your country, where there is stability of Government, political and economic welfare.

Thanks and God bless
Best regards
CHRIS AND JOY AMATO.
