"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear sir.

I on behalf of Federal Government of Nigeria wish to apologize for your delayed payment. Debt Review Committee was set up since 2006 to look into claims of genuine debts of government of Nigeria and make recommendation. We have had to sift through thousands of documents to arrive at acceptable conclusion, the process was not even helped with activities of corrupt officials privy to the pending funds who recruited fraudsters outside of government office for the purpose of illegal transfer to feed greed and personal aggrandizement. Eventually, we were able to established that you are the legitimate beneficiary of pending $21.500.000.00 debt.

In view of the foregoing, you are requested to forward details of your bank coordinates where you'll want the funds transferred immediately, if you are alive and can read this. Let me also state here emphatically, that there will be no any undue pressure on you. The process will be open and transparent.
