"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Urgent Mutual Cooperation

Hello!,

Good day to you, I am Mark Harris, a citizen of the United Kingdom. I work with National Lottery Commission and Camelot Group PLC, "the official monitoring body and the operator of the UK National Lottery". Please you can read about me in my company`s work profile link below:

http://www.natlotcomm.gov.uk/about-the-national-lottery-commission/senior-management-team.html

My proposal for you will be of our mutual benefit. I wish to seek your assistance so that the total sum of £12,000,000(Twelve Million Great Britain Pounds Sterling) can be paid to you by the National Lottery for our mutual benefit. The said amount is a winning lottery prize wish I played and won; the wining prize result has been published over four month ago and since then, I have been unable to claim it due to the following reason.

1. I am not entitled to benefit from a lottery draws because I am a staff of the National Lottery Commission.
2. My family members is not entitled to partake or benefit from a National Lottery draw.
3. I cannot use a friend to claim this funds because I am afraid of any future blackmail.
4. I can only lodge and invest this fund outside of the UK when claimed because I would be question regarding the source of the fund if I utilize it in the UK.

With regards to the above, I decided to get a foreigner to assist me. Hence I contacted you. I wish to front you for the claim as the winner of the prize because there is a claim deadline of 180 days (six months) for the claim of this prize; which means that, after the deadline of 180 days, this funds will be forfeited and sent to the UK. Government treasure if left unclaimed. The National Lottery has returned huge unclaimed prizes to the UK Good Cause since its inception. This is because the winners failed to come for the claim within the 180 days deadline.
You can find news about forfeited prizes by visiting the BBC news and the lottery post link below so that you confirm and believe what I am saying:

I hereby seek your consent to cooperate with me so that I can provide you the winning information that won the prize funds of £12,000,000 to enable you apply for the claim of the funds as the winner. I shall reward you with 50% of this funds. The important thing here is that we shall meet face to face before this prize will be paid to you. I believe this will increase your trust in this project and make you put in your all to work with me. There is no risk involved if you work with me because the prize is legal and there will be no trace that you are not the real winner/owner of the prize. The National Lottery will issue you some backup documents alongside the prize cheque as a proof of the genuine source of this fund. This way you will not be questioned by any authority about the origin of the fund. I have mapped out all plans to ensure you claim this funds without any trace in the future. All I require from you is your honesty, confidentiality, trust, sincerity and dedicati
