"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am Sir. Edwin Edge, Chief executive officer (CEO) Atm processing unit, UBA Bank PLC Benin. My purpose of writing is to inform you that our ATM card Issued in your name with total amount of ($1.500,000.00) one million five thousand united state Dollars only was returned to us by our delivery company (FEDEX) and they told us to cancel your ATM Card  for you don't want it anymore, they stated clearly that you refused to pay the delivery fee of your ATM card which was $150 Dollars and that is their reason not to delivery the ATM card to you since.
 
You are now advised to contact me and tell me why you ask FEDEX  to destroy your ATM MasterCard without our notice. Contact me directly on this email ( edge.edwin@yahoo.de ) and also reconfirm your full mailing address and telephone number to me should in case you still want to receive your ATM card.
 
Mind you that after three working days we did not hear from you we will cancel the card and do not blame anyone.
