"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

This is to bring to your notice that the International Monetary Fund Organization after due consultations with the Federal Reserve Bank and other financial institution, we hereby confirmed that none of the banks can be able to Wire your approved fund valued US$10,500,000.00 into your account due to shortage of fund in their respective Foreign and Escrow accounts and because of that, we have release the cash payment gazette for 2014 payment fiscal year for beneficiaries to receive their payment through our Offshore Security Minting Office in Europe, Canada or Asia. To this effect be informed that all necessary arrangement has been completed to pay you, your unclaimed fund by cash payment in accordance to the International Monetary Fund Organization payment Policy.
 
I want you to know that this Letter is for your personal interest; please find it necessary to reply me after going through this letter and you should also bear in mind that you can receive your fund by cash payment without any further expenses, absolutely no expense to be incur by you. NO UPFRONT PAYMENT OF ANY KIND, NOT EVEN PAYMENT BY WESTERN UNION, as all the expenses will be taken care off by the International Monetary Fund Organization.
 
This payment procedure was adopted due to lack of fund in the foreign reserve of your financial institution to settle your overdue payments. The International Monetary Fund Organization has made arrangement for all round paid trip in this regards, which mean your travel ticket will be paid for and Hotel accommodation will be take care off by this office. I urgently need your prompt response so that we can complete your cash payment transaction within two weeks.
