"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am writing you this letter contract proposal for the supply of
public toilets to the Government which covers over 36 state of the
country the contract worth $15.5m and mobilization of the sum of
$10.5million will be release to you to enable you source for the
products and have it supplied.

The balance of the sum amount of $5million shall be released to you
after the supply of the products is received and confirmed by the
Government. The Government is doing this to encourage foreign
investors to come and invest in the country irrespective of your
country.

Sir/Ma,you are advised to send the following information for
endorsement of the supply in your name before the mobilization amount
will be release to you. The required information is as follows,

1. YOUR FULL NAME.
2. NAME OF YOUR COUNTRY AND YOUR ADDRESS.
3. OFFICE AND CELL PHONE NUMBER.
4. COMPANY;S NAME AND ADDRESS.

Details of the number units every month to be supplied will be made
known to you upon the receipt of your information.
