"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Attention,

With due respect to the instruction giving by the president of Nigeria we hereby state clear to you that your outstanding payment file is under proper cross examination for unword release as directed by the high authority , so you are kindly advice to get back to us with all necessary details in our letter atteched alongside with this message.

Please we also want you to reconfirm to us if you have any idea of who this man from Romania is and if you are the one that gave him the authority or power to make claim of your unclaim fund without or on your behalf, so check the attached document and get back to us now.

Note: The attached file is already PDF for security reason so no one could temper with this document and do reply back to the email below.
