"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: EMRCP Investment Capital Fund

Dear Friend,

I am Paul Williams, Financial Services Officer of United Bank For
Africa Spintex Branch Ghana. I handle all our Investor's Direct
Capital Funds and extracted 1.2% Excess Maximum Return Capital Profit
(EMRCP) per annum on each of the Investor's Marginal Capital Fund.

As an expert, I have made over $9,000,000.00 Million from the
Investor's EMRCP and hereby looking for someone to trust who will
stand as an Investor to receive the fund as Annual Investment Proceeds
from UBA Marginal Capital Fund. All confirmable documents to back up
the claims will be made available to you prior to your acceptance.

Brief history of funds: I have more than 158 Corporate Investors
attached to my portfolio whose Capital Investment Funds are being
managed and administered by me. This Capital Investment Funds has a
value of over US$22Billion net. The US$22B is been used for trading in
Stock Market and Crude Oil. Every end of year, each corporate investor
is expected to receive interest from his/her total Investment Capital
Funds. However, I made an excess of 1.2% from the Investor's
Investment Capital Funds annually which have exceeded our targeted 20%
of Total Investment Capital Funds. This extra of 1.2% from the 21.2%
is been retained by me as my personal profits for managing the Capital
Investment. However, I cannot claim these funds without presenting
someone to stand as an Investor otherwise our establishment will
convert the funds into the company's treasury. This is why I have come
to you for the deal to take place.

Meanwhile, I have worked out the modalities and technicalities whereby
the funds can be claimed in any of our 5 Clearing Ho uses without any
hitches. Our sharing ratio will be 60%:40%. If you are interested, you
should send your direct phone number so we could discuss more on phone
as regard the transaction.

Get back to me on this email (paulwillm0@yahoo.com.hk) for more
details if you know you can handle this.

Sincerely,

Paul Williams
