"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

to meet people because you don't know who to trust or believe, but as I
have developed the trust in you after my fasting and praying, I made up
my mind to confide this confidential business suggestion to you.

There
is an over due unclaimed sum of Eighteen Million, Five Hundred Thousand
British Pounds. (GBP18,500,000.00) in my bank, belonging to one of our
deceased foreign customer. There were no beneficiaries stated concerning
these funds. I am contacting you as regards to this fund, since you
have the same surname, with our late client. So all i want is for you,
to stand in as his next of kin. I want you to know that our late
customer late Client died intestate, i.e he died without leaving a WILL.
Therefore, i want you to apply for the claim and release of the fund
smoothly into your reliable bank account. I am assuring you, that this
