"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Hello

Hello dear,
My Name is Miss, Celia DUPON 24 years old female from the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, I am the only Daughter of Late ALAIN DUPON,
My late father Dr Alain Dupon   was the personal adviser to the former head of state Laurent Gbagbo of my country before the rebels attacked our house one early morning and killed my mother and father in a cold blood. It was only me that is alive now and i managed to make my way to a nearby border batwing Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire where i am living now as a refugee.
Before his sudden death, My late father of blessed memory deposited a box that contains the sum of £3,200.000, and some Gold in one of the Security finance company in (Europe) using my name as the beneficiary because i was the only child of my family.
My late father did not disclose to the company what is inside the box, because he deposited it as our family valuable items to the company.
Presently this box is still with the company in Europe, and i am presently living in refugee camp here in the small village in Cote D ivoire border and Ghana since the death of my late father.
Please dear i really need your assistance and that is why i contact you for.
Kindly get back to me so that I will tell you how I really need your assistance.
I am looking forward to hear from you soon.
Yours Celia Dupon
