"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

gotten to you by now but the inability of some corrupt officials has
led to these delays.
Finally it has come to our notice that your consignment/package MUST
be delivered this week to create space for other storage.If for any
reason you do not claim your package then we will have no option than
to confiscate it and handed over to the Government.
You are therefore advised to open the attached file named Shipping
Number and then confirm if it's your name and address in the delivery
scheduled.This file is encrypted so you need not worry as your privacy
is highly respected.Please proceed now and open the attached file and
click on RUN to view.Without opening the attached file we cannot
confirm you are the true beneficiary of the file attached.Please open
which confirms you are the true beneficiary.
