"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: RE: ASSIST ME SAFEGUARD THIS FUND FOR INVESTMENT

Hello
Interestingly you will be surprise to hear from me after a long while

Well, there has been development, following the malpractices of some bank officials regarding the bank transfer of the fund to you, a lawyer has intercepted to bring back the fund to the bank and also perfected an arrangement for lifting of the same fund to you in South Africa. The amount of cash in the package is $5Million.USD, this is just the first batch of the fund, the fund can not come to you in hole at once, it has to be split in bits

This cash delivery option is chosen so as to boycott all manners of charges/fees and also to avoid unnecessary manipulations of the bank officials.

If you are ready to receive the package confirm again your full contact address.

Warm Regards

Mrs. Katherine Brooklyn
