"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Very Interesting

My Dear Friend,

Please do accept my apology if my mail infringes on your personal ethics. It is with trust and sincerity that I approach you for assistance to transfer some funds into your account. My name is Steven Bradley, a citizen of Australia working in a financial institution here in south east Asia as a supervisor,

I would like you to act as the next of kin to my deceased client, a contractor with one of the biggest oil servicing company in Asia who made a deposit of( USD25.7 million) only with us. He died in a plane crash with his immediate family without any registered next of kin and as such the funds now have an open beneficiary mandate with our Bank, This means that any person from your country can act as the next of kin of the deceased person for claiming the inheritance funds without any risk involved.

My proposition to you is to present you to the bank as the Next of kin and beneficiary of my deceased client and the bank will pay this (USD25.7 million )to you and we share the amount on a mutually agreed percentage and go into investment partnership with you in your country. If you are interested in this transaction, Please do let me know immediately so that I can give you comprehensive details on how to proceed. contact my private email: ( stevebradley65@yahoo.com

Regards,
Steven Bradley
