"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Greetings to you,

Greetings to you,
With warm heart I offer my friendship, and I hope this mail meets you
in good time. I feel quite safe dealing with you in this important
business. Though, this medium (Internet) has been greatly abused, I
choose to reach you through it because it still remains one of the
fastest medium of communication with people in partnership. It is a
great pleasure for me to contact you, but first let me start by
introducing myself. I am Jeff Mukar, the son of Late Dr. Philip Echou,
a member of the movement for political change in Ivory Coast which is
against the new president and his political party.
It happens that that my father was the leader of the moment in Ivory
Coast. During this process, he was arrested with his partners.
According to the instructions he gave when he was arrested, he
instructed that his assets should be sold and through our family
lawyer we were able to sell some asset and some property to raise
money for the perusal of the case in court, a year later he was
poisoned in prison and after his death, the lawyer run away with the
rest of the money and abandon the case and all my father’s property
was sized and all the fund deposited by his name was confiscated by
the government only the sum of US$3,500,000.00 he deposited in
Republic of Togo is safe and the documents are under my care . Now I
have nothing left with me. My father's death has course me a lot of
sorrow and has made my life miserable, how wish my mum was alive
things will not get this worst, all my father’s friends run away and
none of them border to ask about me. At this moment, a lot of eyes are
on me and my moments are been monitored but I have been able to move
out to escape to the laboring country Republic of Togo where I was
staying as a refugee camp through the help of a Reverend Father. I am
now soliciting for your urgent assistant to stand as my foreign
partner and provide your account which I will forward to the bank
immediately I receive your message.
I want to relocate to your country immediately the fund is transferred
to your account and I hope you will not betray this trust I am about
to depose in you because this money is the only thing I have to live
for and start a new life. I am planning to invest in Real Estate
management but if there is any another investment that is more
profitable than Real Estate I will be glad to follow your advice. With
your help and assistance I am ready to give you 25% from the total sum
and the rest will be invested in your country through you which you
and your family will also benefit from. Also I am planning complete
my education because I am still under graduate. I will appreciate your
utmost confidentiality in this matter until the task is accomplished.
Now my questions are: 1. Can you handle a financial project of
US$3.5M?
2. Can I give you this financial trust as a trustee holder?
If you agree on this condition, kindly reply through my private email
(jeffmukar2014@gmail.com) send your full contact address telephone for
more advice.
Thanks and it is my pleasure to meet you.
Sincerely,
Jeff Mukar
