"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

I am Clive L. Peters, the paymaster of African Union. This is an official notice to you that your partner whose where about we don't know, applied for our international loan six (6) months ago and he deposited your email with us as a point of contact. He told us at that time that you business is suffering due to lack of finance.

Yesterday the chairman of the loan committee approved your loan sum of US$450,000.00[ FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLAR ]. Since we can't reach your partner now, we decided to contact your email to inform you and to request for the basic requirements by the committee:

1. Your full name
2. Address
3. Phone numbers
4. Nationality
5. Country of origin
6. Present Country residence
7. Date of birth
8 .profession/ Occupation
9. Sex
10. Copy of your government issued ID Or your passport.
11. The sum of US$135 for international applicant's fees.
