"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Good Day,

This is a proposal in context but actually an appeal soliciting for your unreserved assistance in consummating an urgent transaction requiring maximum confidence.

Though this approach appears desperate but it's main objective can only be achieved based on trust, loyalty and absolute confidentiality. I can assure you that whatever questions you would need to ask regarding this proposal, will be adequately answered to give you a clearer understanding so as to arrive at a successful conclusion.

Let me start by introducing myself, I am Mark Donald from Tata Steel Europe Limited. Again, I am writing you this letter based on confidence regarding a proposal i would like to venture with you and i will agree to share with you in a negotiable percentage as far as you agree to take part in this mutual benefiting opportunity.

Please read very carefully and try as much as possible to understand, you may call it whatever, but what i am about to do is something that i know will be of a great benefit to me now and in the future and yourself should you be a party to this mutual benefiting opportunity.

In December last year, it was brought to my notice of an over invoiced funds issued by Old Dutch Interiors, a very reliable and effective company to our products. Hence, I do not want to disclose this issue to any member of my company to avoid problems. For this reason i had to send you this email requesting for your assistance and to work with me to create a "win win" Scenario. All i request from you being a foreigner, is to stand as the beneficiary to the sum of 13.7 million Euros which is sitting presently in a bank in ENGLAND.

I want you to be rest assured and know that i have carefully considered this a hitch free transaction as all mondalities has been put in place to achieve success. Such modalities includes; the services of an attorney who is also a close confidant that will prepare the necessary document to back you up as the beneficiary to the said funds, securing the necessary approval and letter of probate in your favor for transferring the funds to an account that will be provided by you for the both of us. And as soon as the funds are in your care, i will be relocating to your country to discuss on a possible investment should you want us to invest together.

Think about this and get back to me at once for more information on how to actualize the release of the said funds to you as the beneficiary. Please be informed, this is a smart deal and it will definitely have no trace if you do not disclose this to any one.

Therefore, i am counting on your absolute confidentiality, transparency and trust while looking forward to your positive response at the earliest.

Thank you.

Mark Donald
