"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Hello, Success at last.

I am sure you might have forgotten me by now. I am Jose Jaime, the banker who proposed a business transaction to you years back. I am happy to announce to you that I have finally succeeded in moving the funds out of Africa with the help of an understanding business partner from Australia. As you know, am not the greedy or selfish type, so i dropped a compensation check of $350,000,00 usd for you, for all your help as at that time despite our inability to conclude the business together. Quickly contact the USPS COURIERS BENIN where I deposited the check to be shipped to your address. Note; I have paid the insurance and delivery charges, all that is left unpaid is their security keeping fee which you have to confirm from them. E-mail:( uspscouriers@outlook.fr ) Tele: +229 6101 9307
God bless
Mr. Jose Jaime
