"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Re: Re: Payment Advise.

My Dear Friend,

I was shocked you never communicate me with regards to this payment compensation which I wish to inform you that I have done all I can to help you clear your funds through the paying bank into an ATM visa card and I have dropped your ATM VISA CARD worth $1,200.000.00 USD with Trans Parcel Courier Delivery Services. Insurance and delivery charges have been paid for, but the only fee remaining is the security safe keeping fee of $125.00 USD which you will be required to pay before the delivery will be made to you. I did this because I was unable to make the funds transfer to your home bank account in your country and I am going out of Benin to Russia for a period of 4 months to see my sick brother.

However, this was not paid for because of demur-rage. Well, I did forward to them your delivery address, but a re-confirmation is important to avoid wrong delivery to different address and when contacting, I advise you to quote the parcel and shipment code to them for onward delivery to your re-confirmed address. The ATM VISA CARD has pin number 9312.

Therefore, forward the following when contacting Trans Parcel Courier Delivery Services:Your Name, Your Delivery Address, Your Phone Number
and code below.
