"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: FREE INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP OFFER

Hello Colleague,

This is Mr. Khumalo Gigaba of the Southern Funds Consortium, UK. As you may be aware, i'm a contemporary Private Financial Consultant and Investment Manager to highly placed personalities in the private and government sectors of major Southern African countries; superintending over their private overseas investment and assets. The President of South African, Jacob Zuma, who is my principal in this case, and the Finance Minister who is my elder brother are among my clients.

I seek on behalf of my principals, your partnership or cooperation in a hugely profitable joint business investment deal. Suffice to hint that I have the confidential mandate of my clients to source a Joint Investment Partnership or Trust Transfer Transfer Receiver Account for a total sum of $500 Million, to be structured for multiple disbursements in negotiated tranches to be determined by partner's investment profile or capacity. There is need for urgent our divestment of this funds as a tactical response to the ongoing KMPG financial scandal in south Africa and alleged complicity of my principal.

I will furnish you with comprehensive details after now, but be rest assured that these are very clean funds, properly approved and legislated for Trust Investment Payment Transfer by the Presidential Prerogative of my principal, into any nominated joint foreign investment portfolio or Trustee Account.

Please reply to convey your interest or request for further clarification, so that we can open effective discussions and perhaps arrange to meet either in the UK where my international operational base is located or any central European, Asia, or Middle Eastern city as may be convenient, to discuss working modalities and MOU.
