"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: PURCHASE ORDER NOT YET PAID

Good Morning Sir,

With due respect, our firm has come to an agreement with her management and have
decided to sue you to court for Bridge of Agreement, Conspiracy, and Fraud.
A Purchase order was laid to you, quotation, as well as your confirmed invoice and 100% payment made via TT as agreed in your
invoice, but order has still not been shipped since past 9 Weeks and 5 working days even after contacting you severally,
My colleague has also forwarded this P.O, Signed invoice and Payment Slip to you to advice on 20th July, yet there is still no confirmation. This was meant to be a
August test order.

Attached to this mail is scan document proof of the Order made, your signed invoices and our Payment Swift which would serve as an evidence in court.
Waiting to hear from you ASAP

Regards,

Derek Lesley
