"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Greetings,

I'm SGT Michael Sauret an American soldier serving in Syria. I am
contacting you for a business proposal. During my service in Iraq, we
discovered some million of dollars which we shared among ourselves
Fifteen Million Dollars ($15,000,000) each. For the fact that am still
in service i could not make any plan with the money rather than to
deposit it in a Bank over there in America. 2 soldiers among us who
could not move their share of the fund out of Iraq were caught and
prosecuted over the missing fund. Right now am no more comfortable with
the deposit of the money under my name and this is because the military
may decide to carry out investigation again. I am contacting you for
assistance over the claim of the money. I want the fund to be
transferred to your account till when i complete my service here in
Syria. I will share with you 65% for me and 35% for you.

Kindly get back to me with your details so i can give you more details.

(1) Your full Name,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
(2) Your full contact address,,,,,,,,
(3) Your telephone number,,,,,,,,,,,,
(4) Your occupation and Age,,,,,,,,,,
