"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Bank/BTC Deal

Good Day,

I am Mr. Robert Kaplan presently working with foreign director Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) United State. I decided to reach you directly to solicit your assistance in making a Bitcoin (BTC) partnership and transfer of $650.8m worth of Bitcoin (BTC) into your country within few banking days.
Due to the pandemic of the Coronavirus disease(COVID-19), our company had a flop on the trade market and our stock dropped. The decline in the futures market followed a steep 4.9% drop in regular trading Wednesday.

Our companies are really concerned and seeking for partnership because the government won’t be able to do enough to prevent the virus outbreak from causing significant damage to the global economy.
Please take out a moment of your very busy schedule to respond back if you are interested so that i can explain more about this transaction and process on how to go about it.

I await your urgent reply.

Yours Truly,

Mr. Robert Kaplan.
