"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: URGENT REPLY

Good Day,

My name Is James Savimbi, I am from Angola.

I Actually decided to contact you because I discussed with my Mum and we agreed I should contact you.

I got your email address from chamber of commerce lists on the Internet.

I contacted you for an Inheritance / family treasure deposited funds belonging to my late father, an expatriate in Gold and Diamond  Mining Sector that worked with Mexican Mining Company for 12 years as well as Chile Mining Company for 9 Years and finally moved to Africa in Ghana, where he also worked before he died as a result of illness.

For this reason, my Mum and I decided I should make contact with someone who is responsible and trustworthy to help us claim the deposited funds and relocate us from here to his country.

I shall give details and proof of existence of deposit to work with once I hear from you.

Thank you and I look forward to your quick response. God bless you and please stay safe from this Codvid-19  pandemic

Regards

James Savimbi
