"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: +++PLEASE HELP ASSIST MY FAMILY AND I+++

From: Mr.Smith Sayanda
Plot 1103, stad city, Johannesburg,
SOUTH AFRICA

Dear Friend,

Please don't be surprised to receive this letter from me since we do
not know each other before now. I am Mr.Smith Sayanda, the son of
late Mr. Tate Sayanda , a farmer in ZIMBABWE who was recently murdered
in he land dispute in my country. I got your contact through network
online hence decided to write you. Before the death of my father, he made a
deposit with a security company, in SOUTH AFRICA. The consignment was
clared to contain GEM STONES shipped on diplomatic cover to avoid customs
detecting the actual contents. The actual content is the sum of US15.5
million (Fifteen million, Five Hundred thousand United States dollars
only).
This was done when he noticed the looming danger in Zimbabwe on land
policies.
The security company does not know the actual contents of the two
trunk-boxes consignment as it was not disclosed to them for security
reasons. This
amount was meant for the purchase of new ?Agricultural machineries and
chemicals
for our Farms and establishment of new farms in Swaziland.
This land problem came when Zimbabwean President Mr. Robert Mugabe
introduced a new Land Act Reform that wholly affecting the rich white
farmers and some few black farmers alike. This resulted to the killing and
mob action by Zimbabwean war veterans and some lunatics in the society.
In fact a lot of people were killed because of this Land
reform Act for which my father was one of the victims. It is against
this background that, all my family members fled out of Zimbabwe for fear
of our lives. We are currently taking refuge in South Afreica where we seek
political asylum. At this point, we decided to transfer my late father`s
money to a
more reliable foreign account as soon as you take
delivery of the consignment. As the only son of my late father, I
am saddled with the responsibility of seeking a genuine partner that
could assist me without the knowledge of my government who are bent on
taking everything we have gotten. To the best of my knowledge, the
Zimbabwea government had written their counter-part in South Africa to
radite my two sisters and I to face the laws of the land. To the glory of
God, the South African has not yielded to this request because
International Bodies are watching. We have been under close watch by the
authority hence we cannot travel to take delivery.I am seeking for a partner
who I have to entrust my future and that of my family in his hands. I must
let you know that this transaction is free from risk. If you accept to assist
us, do please contact me with this phone number and e-mail address bellow
to enable us finalize all the arrangement with the security company for the
delivery of the consignment to you.

SMITH SAYANDA

E-mail: smithsayanda@netscape.net

Tel:+27 83 669 2666.

I will conclude all arrangements with the security company to clear
the consignment (funds). I will also enlighten you on the sharing
(70%/30% basis) and the subsequent investment to be made in your
country with our share with your advice.
Thanks, GOD BLESS YOU

Yours Faithfully,
Mr.Smith Sayanda
