"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

Subject: Request for partnership business

From the office of :
Hon dr mrs felicia nwaeze
Dear sir/madam
Request for partnership business
I wish to relate this contract award proposal to you , hoping that you will handle it with the seriousness and sincerity it demands .
I have this contract worth 47million dollars{47m$} by my state government to start up the state housing complex of which they need a contractor abroad for proper execution.

I am not supposed to be involved in the execution of any contract because i am a member of the state house of assembly representing my constituency in the state house , i am doing this because i have heard of your handwork from a friend and i need impressive work to be done .
The commissioner for works and housing is a bossom friend and he has assured me that the contract is ruled and signed for my candidate every thing is in controll . You have a mobilization fee of 25% worth the amount for a start .
Note this is a confidetial issue and it should be dealt with as such as regards my possition in the state .Make sure you discuss this business with no other person than myself all i want is your phone /fax number.
Thanks for your co-operation , i am looking forward to reading from you .
Hon Dr Mrs Felicia Nwaeze
representing oshimili north constuency
