"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

Re-Investment of 25 million U.S.D
My name is Barrister Sylvester Nom.a Liberian citizen
residing
in Accra-Ghana. I Am at the moment the most trusted
friend and financial Adviser to the former Head of
state and President of Liberia Mr. Charles Taylor.
Before his resignation as the President of Liberia, he
was able to successfully siphoned into Ghana cash
amounting to 25million USD during the peace talk that
was held between the rebel group and the Liberian
National army in Accra-Ghana.
He left the money in my care and advised that I should
look for reputable companies, trusted individuals and
organization abroad that has a good knowledge of
investment to invest with the money and
returned same with an agreed interest rate after some
years. This arrangement is the only secured method of
sending the funds out of Africa and securing it
abroad.
If you are interested to invest with this fund and you
are sure that you have a meaningful business idea and
proposal, then write to me through my email address to
enable me forward details of how the funds can get to
your account.I will also like to have your phone/fax
numbers for easy communication.
Treat all information with the strictest
confidentiality.
Best Reagerds.
Barrister Sylvester Nom.
