"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dr Adamu Amos (Very Urgent)
From: Dr Adamu Amos.
Chairman.
All Africa Game(PCAAG)
Attn:The President/Ceo

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Dr Adamu Amos Chairman to the Presidential committee on the 8th All Africa Game (PCAAG), parent body of the 8th All Africa Games,Abuja 2003? The Organizing Committee, an affiliate of(COJA).In the course of our preparation to host the 8th All Africa Games (Abuja2003) this years, huge sum of money running into millions of United States Dollars was budgeted by the then Civilian Government for the successful organization of this competition. In the same vein, The Nigerian Goverment made millions of dollars available for the same project, not to talk of Corporate Organizations and Football loving individuals who made huge donations.

However, in my capacity as the Chairman, to both the 8th All Africa Games Organizing Committee (PCAAG)and the(COJA), I,along with two of my colleagues in sensitive positions were able to over-invoice most contracts, which were awarded for the construction and the refurbishing of the Abuja stadium to be used for the competition. The contractors who handled these projectshave been paid-off. It is pertinent to note that a total sum of twenty million United States Dollars (US$20,000,000.00) was realized as over invoice after the successful completion of the project.

This over-invoiced sum is lying in my organization's the Presidential committee on the 8th All Africa Game (PCAAG) suspense account with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), ready for transfer into the beneficiary's account oversea, waiting for the appropriate opportunity to do so. In this year's (2004 budget speech,By the President has ordered that all foreign contractors 'debts should be paid in order to boost more Foreign investors into Nigeria.

On this note, I have been unanimously mandated by my two colleagues to seek an honest and trustworthy Foreigner who will assist in ensuring the successful transfer of the above sum into a personal/company account since the Nigerian code of conduct does not allow us as(Civil servants) to operate foreign accounts. It is pertinent also to let you know that 30 of the total fund will be for you, while 10% will be used to pay you back for any expenses that you may incure in the process of the claim, and the remaining 60% will be for us (my colleagues and I) to be invested in your country.

We have chosen you / your company to benefit with us in this transaction due to the respect your country commands here. You might be surprised and curious of an offer like this, be rest assured that the modalities and logistics towards the successful transfer of this fund has been worked out. All we require from you is your co-operation. This transaction is 100%risk free.

We kindly request that you accord it the highest level of secrecy it deserves.Your swift response will be highly appreciated.

Finally i will like you to show your willingness in this transaction,by
sending to me your direct telephone and fax numbers for easy communication, your full name and address are also needed. Waiting for your urgent response.

Best regards,

Dr Adamu Amos .
Chairman.
