"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Subject: Bonjor.

Hello my friend,
TOP OF THE DAY TO YOU


My name is Mr.John Eze. I am the personal accountant to former
President Charles Taylor of Liberia whom was forced to leave his presidency in
Liberia and was granted asylum in Calabar, south east Nigeria.

I would like to ask for your assistance in a matter of great urgency.

Before President Charles Taylor was forced out of power, he deposited
the
sum of $40m (forty million United States Dollars) in cash with a
security
company in Europe.
Due the international sanctions, himself (President Charles Taylor),
any
member of his family or associate can not travel to Europe to help
claims
this money, this is why I'm asking for your assistance in helping to
claims this money.

This money is legally acquired and 20% of it shall be all yours for
your effort and assistance. You would have to travel to get this done and
sorted out.

A memorandum of understanding is to be drawn and signed to take care of
the parties before commencement. I'd appreciate if you leave your
