"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

You can go through this website http://allafrica.com/stories/200410290161.html to be acqainted with the problem associated with my country. I was the only survivor after a succide attack to my family in which I lot my parents, and family property in this terrible and wicked acts of the rebel group. I received succour couple of weeks ago when I managed to swingle myself into the US flight that dropped Nigerian soldiers to Sudan for peace keeping. Presently I am in Nigeria. Hopes to recover our remaining properties in Sudan is very blink as the Rebel continued to mount presure in the dafur region. However I have with me, my father's personal hand bang which contained documents which my Late father lodged two mettalic boxes with an international courier diplomat in Indonesia. The boxes contained raw United State
s Dollars valued at Five Miilion. (US$5M). I am marveled by this development as hope to readress my situation seems very much possible.

Dearest, I need your assistance to help me recover the boxes from the diplomat. I have already contacted the diplomat and lodged my formal complaint to him on my predicament. However, the diplomat is ready to release this boxes to any person I recommend, hence that is my main reason of writting. Please kindly offer your assistance to me. I am ready to give you 30% of the total money once you indicate your interest and complete this transacion. Get back to me via this email:j_kafur2004@ukrpost.net
