"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Respectfully

I wish to crave your indulgence in a claim business of mutual benefit
if we walk together as planned.

I am Mr.Bryant Smith a credit manager to the late Mr.John Yamnicky who
happens to be one of the victims of September 11th 2001 terrorist attackof
the World trade center in the United States of America which claim lives
of people along with Mr.John Yamnicky.

In regards to this incident my organization attempted several research
to locate any of his relatives or his next of kin to transfer the money
into his or her bank account but all effort proof unsuccessful.

On this bases and as I am still in active service as claim officer, I
need your assistance to come forward as the next of kin or relative to the
late John Yemnicky.
