"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

ATTN:
Greetings, With due respect, trust and humility, I use this medium to write this letter to you irrespective of the fact that you do not know me but please do consider this letter as a request from a widow in dare need of assistance. Let me formerly introduce myself; I am Mrs.Christiana.Mabasa, wife of late Sir Solomon .Akhilo Mabasa, the renowned Zimbabwean Wine and Cattle Ranch farmer.

I got your contact through the internet in my earnest search for a reliable and trustworthy individual who can render me assistance. And i am so much trusting on you becouse of the content of your profile in the internet, and i am applying more carefullness becouse i have falling a victim of fraudlers in my search for someone i can trust.

During the war waged against the farmers in Zimbabwe
by the supporters and cohorts of President Robert Mogabe to claim all the white owned farms in our country, my late husband belonged to one of the classes of farmers targetted by the ZANU-PF armed group because he did not support their ideas and
policies.

In the course of the revolution in the country, the ZANU-PF armed group attacked and invaded my husband's farms, burning, destroying and eventually killing him.

After my husband's death , I managed to escape the boundaries of Zimbabwe into South Africa with my son - Solomon Mabasa (jnr) because our lives were threatened and Zimbabwe was no longer safe for us. Prior to my husband's untimely death, he had earlier informed me of two big trunk boxes containing twenty eight million dollars (US$28,000,000.00) cash, bonds, important documents of property title and other valuables, which he deposited in a Security and brokage firm here in johannesburg south africa with the assistance of his good friend who is a banker here.

I tried to esterblish contact from south africa to invest the money here in south africa with a foriegn partner but the bankers in south africa in colablation with the contact i made nearly dupe me out the total money, if not for the assistance of my late husband friend who suspected what the are about to do and save the situation.Presently I am residing temporarily in South Africa as political assylum seekers / refugees with my son solomon. At the moment, i am trying to transfer this money to any save country for proper investments.I then spoke to my late husband's friend - A banker here in johannesburg and he assurred me that the safest way to move this money is to look for a reliable individual to come here in south africa and open an investment account with his or her name where the money will be deposited for onward transfer to his or her account in your country.

I have resolved to compansate you adequately if you can assist us by comming to south africa for the purpose of this transaction with 40% of the total money.I have in mind to establish a good business and friendly relationship with you in the near future if you are able to help us.

Accept my warm compliments, as I earnestly await
your urgent response and i am sorry for any inconvinence this may couse you.

Best Regards:
Mrs.Christiana. Mabasa.
