"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

The bank now expects his next of kin as beneficiary. Valuable efforts are
being made by the Bank to get in touch with any of the Omer's Family or

of Late Engr. Ahmad Hazim Omer's next of kin that we contact you. (He had no
wife or children that is known to us).
The Management under the influence of our Chairman and Members of the
Board of Directors, have been making arrangements to have the fund
declared "Unclaimed" and subsequently be
donated to the trust fund for arms and ammunition acquisition by the
Government, since they(the Government) has control over financial
institutions.

and I now seek your permission to have you stand as next of kin to the late
Engr.Ahmad Hazim Omer so that the fund will be released and paid into your
Account as his next of kin. Your nationality doesn't matter as myself and my
colleagues will work out everything concerning that to suit the purpose.

worked out. We have secured from the probate registry, an order of Mandamus
to locate any of the deceased's beneficiary(ies), and more so we are
assuring you that this business is 100% Risk Free.
Your share will be 30% of the total sum while the rest will be for my
colleagues and myself for investment purposes, according to agreement
between both parties.
However, It might interest you to know that you can claim the fund in our
bank's main branch here in Accra Ghana or in our corresponding bank in Spain
or Dubai.
Should you be interested in claiming the money from our correspondent bank
in spain, we have a colleague in that bank who will offer you assistance in
spain and who will be willing to talk with you on phone as soon as possible.
We shall arrange to change the name of the beneficiary in your favor with
our bank and also the Probate Registry of the Government of Ghana.

necessary supporting and back up documents that will make you eligible to
claim the fund as his next of Kin.
