"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

ATTENTION:

Undoubtedly, you will be amazed to receive this request from me. In
nutshell, I am MR. JAMES DUBE, son of late MR. DUBE ZUMA who was murdered in
the land dispute in Zimbabwe. Fortunately, before his death, he had taken me
to South Africa to deposit a sum of US$15 Million [FIFTEEN MILLION UNITED
STATES DOLLARS ONLY] in a private security company with help of a contracted
Lawyer as if he foresaw his death and the current problems in Zimbabwe. The
depository documents are with me intact. This money was meant for new
tractors, machines, insecticides, and a multi-million shopping mall in
Harare, Zimbabwe.
This land dispute was a result of president Robert Mugabe introduction of
new Land Reform Acts that empower the state to repose all extensive
farmlands and redistribute them to Zimbabwean war veterans without
compensation to their owners. This new law was purely directed against all
commercial farmers, opposition party members [M.D.C], and all those that are
opposed to autocratic rule in Zimbabwe. This law sparked off riots, mob
actions and killings by the war veterans, with the full support of the
president, the police and his party. Some democratic countries placed
limited sanctions against president Robert Mugabe and his top officials, yet
this ugly incident of arbitrary arrest, detention, torture, unconstitutional
trials and imprisonments are still going on unabated.
In fact, a lot of people have been made homeless, maimed or killed
conspicuously because of this obnoxious Land Reform Acts, in which my
beloved father was a victim. It is this situation in Zimbabwe that brought
me to South Africa. I have decided and fully concluded to transfer this
money to foreign accounts outside African countries for safety first, and in
due course for investments. Secondly, I want to make absolutely sure that my
future is secured, not to be jeopardised by the inconsistent changes in
financial laws and instability of governments in African countries.
As the only son of my father, I am saddled with the responsibility of
transferring this fund In fact an honest person cum business acumen, who can
assist me in transferring this money to his/her offshore accounts, so I am
humbly asking for your assistance. In fact, I would like you to come to
South Africa to assist me in opening non-resident bank accounts where this
money will be first deposited for onwards transfer to your bank accounts in
your country or offshore accounts.
I cannot open bank account or operate any form of banking due to my status
as a refugee. South African financial law prohibits refugees all forms of
financial rights including operation of any form of banking. Meanwhile I
have concluded arrangement for the smooth and immediate transfer of this
fund.
Please note that this transfer is completely hundred percent risk-free and
protection of your identity is guaranteed. For your assistance and reward, I
offer you 20% of the total sum and 5% for any expenses we might incur in the
process, while 75% will be for me. Please if you are willing to assist me
kindly indicate by e-mailing me. Please include your personal telephone
and fax numbers for details. Please do reply me through the above altanative
email :jamesthesonofdavid@hotmail.com

Best regards,

MR. JAMES DUBE.
