"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

My name is Mrs Dorcas Marcus,wife of late Mr. L. Marcus,a 65 years old
shipping magnet and tycoon who died recently as a result of complications

resulting from surgery in his brain (brian cancer).He was a loving husband
with five
children and above all,he loved God almighty and very concerned about humanity.I

know he is resting with the Lord now and may his soul find everlasting peace

with our God,Amen.

Moreover,in his will,he directed his lawyer and me to give the sum of $

twenty three million dollars($23m)to churches,religious organizations/School

,men and women of God that will truely and honestly use the fund to do
the work of God.Therefore, you are hereby requested to respond immediately

so that this funds could be turned over to you or your church/mosque or
religious
organizations for the work of God as my late husband directed.
