"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear Sir/Madam,

Help us and GOD will reward you, With due respect to your humble self, I write you this letter which I believe you would be of great assistance to me and my only sister.

I am Paul Burtley, the Son of the late Dr David Burtley of the blessed memory. Prior to my father assasination by the rebel forces loyal to CORPORAL FODAY Burtley of the Revolutionary United Front (RUF), He was the Director General National Gold and Diamond Mining Corporation of Sierra-Leone.

Before he's death, he told me and my sister (Philomina) about a consignment that he deposited with a security company in Amsterdam Netherland and he showed us the document that he use to deposite the consignment and he told us that he deposited the consignment as family valuables and treasures on my name as his first son Paul Burtley as the beneficiary.

he told me this years ago before his assasination and he told me the truck box contain The some of $12.500.000.(TWELVE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND UNITED STATES DOLLARS .

We escape after his death from Sierra-Leone to Abidjan the Republic of Côte d?Ivoire through the help of some friends and from Abidjan we where able to make our way to holland where we staying in an asylum camp outside the city of holland.

Please for your information , the security company does not know the real content of the box and we do not wish them to know until the truck box that contains the fund is deleiver to you. As it was deposited as family valuables for securituy reasons.

Meanwhile, I with my sister will like to leave holland entirely with this money for investment in your country because of the unstable way they treat people in the camp and mostly for the future of both of us. I want you to please assist us to claim the box from the security company .

Do not hesitate to send me e-mail immediately you receive this letter to enable us proceed in earnest toward retrieving the box out from the security company here.

Finally, Please ensure that no one else knows about this money as it is only me and my sister and yourself knows about this money. Please even if you don?t want to assist me, please don?t expose this for security reasons.
