Dear Friend,
Please assist me in investing my brother-inlaw's funds. It is my sincere desire that you respond to this letter inspite of the fact that it may surprise you to receive a letter like this from me especially when we haven't had any previous business transaction. I contacted you through this means because it is the only secured avenue with which I can contact you without intruders looking into to the information contained in this letter. My intent for contacting you is because I received information about you as a person that can readily assist me in investing my brother-inlaw's funds.
Secondly, I am using this means to contact you so that my personality can be sheilded until I am sure of your willingness to assist me in achieving the purpose of this business which am about to introduce to you; this business will be of high benefit to you, to my, and the family of the my brother inlaw.
My name is Yoo Rhee, brother to Lee Soon-ja(former first Lady of South Korea from 1979 - 1988), and brother-inlaw to former president of South Korea, Chun Doo-Hwan.
If you are aware the current happenings in South Korea you will be aware that my role in the activities that is going around my brother inlaw and his family are centred alround me; I oversee and coordinate my brother-inlaw's private businesses and interests, both in South Korea and overseas, since he was placed in detention and later released along side several members of his and my family member.
As for me as I write you this letter I write it from the four walls of my bedroom because I have be prohibited from moving around because of the accusations leveled against me for running all my brother-inlaw's businesses and accounts around the world.
My purpose of writing you this proposal is because I and sister, Lee Soon-ja, are looking for a reputable individual like you that can help us investment some of our funds which her husband Chun Doo-Hwan stached away before his arrest and prosecution, during his tenure as president of
South Korea. This decision between I and my sister can because he and other members of his family are ban from operating local and international bank accounts or to own a business because of new legislative laws passed on us even after he has refunded W32,000,000.00(Thirty-Two Million
Won) which is about $12,000,000.00 USD$ to the confers of the government.
I need you to assist me to invest some of his funds which are laying dormant.
I am soliciting your assistance for business association between us because all members of our family including former officials of my inlaw's government, and their aides and family members have been banned from operating any account or engaging in normal businesses until he clears all allegation against him.
moreover, I am seeking your help because South Korea does not have a good climate for our investments right now because of the effect of the cooled war between my family and our enemies,the government.
It is based on this development that I have the mandate of my brother-inlaw and his wife, my sister, to contact you and request you to do business with us as our partner and representative, to assist us in setting up an investment organization in your country with the funds he has in a finance company in Europe. He is open to suggestions from you to buy existing businesses if thats what you want us to invest in.
Please response to this letter as soon as possible so I can give you a detailed plan of how to transfer our funds to you for the proposed investments organization building.
