"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Read more about such scams here or in our 419 FAQ. Use the Scam-O-Matic to verify suspect emails.

Attention

I would like to seek your assistance and guidance,as an investment consultant or perhaps you may have knowledge about profitable investment opportunities(REAL ESTATE to be precise) to please provide detailed information about you for possible investment.I was formerly in Charles
Tailor's cabinet in Liberia, in charge of minor operations and due to the hand over of power on the 11th Aug 2003,I was among those that accompanied the former Liberian President to Nigeria where he is presently seeking Asylumn. As hard time bites, most of us deserted him, heading back to Liberia or dispersing within Nigeria in search of better fortunes on the 8th of
April 2004.For more information about this log on to:

I would be delighted to enter into partnership with you in business. This is because the Nigerian economy is fluctuating and investment in the country is insecure and risky following the signing of the new Convention Against Corruption (CAC) during the recent UN summit last month, the GPAC is focused on asset recovery.Accordingly, preparatory assistance for the prevention of assets recovery pilot-projects are being developed for Nigeria and Kenya.Hence, I have redirected the funds which I brought to Nigeria for foreign investment instead and expedite plans to relocate accordingly. I also solicit for your assistance to enable me own a house in your country as I will be comming over with my family.

It is very essential that you understand that the kind of trust and confidence I want to put in you is extraordinary, and an act of desperation on my part, in order not to lose this fund I have kept overseas in a financial institution. Please, treat this contact with utmost secrecy and
confidentiality for security and safety reasons.I also intend to spend the fund judisiously through your assistance by rehabilitating our angry youths, whom as at now, no longer know where they belong due to the Lingering war in my mother land Liberia I am making arrangements to invest overseas under an able man power and would be well pleased to have your guidance, support and cooperation in this struggle if you are capable and willing to work with me and my family in good faith without prejudice.

Your little advice could mean a lot to me and together we can make it
happen!!

Thank you for your time as I hope to read a word of advice from you at
your earliest convenience.
You should please reach me at:reachsimpson@myway.com

For and on behalf of my family,

My Regards,

RICKY SIMPSON
