Dear Friend,
I know that this mail will come to you as a big surprise, but please do
not be. It is with heart full of tears and despair that I run to you for
assistance, knowing fully well that you will be trusted. I got information
about you from an International contact agency.
By way of introduction, I am Ken Adams , the only son of late Engr. Ken
Adams an Engineer with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC).
My late father and 3 of his colleagues were kidnapped and murdered in cold
blood by restive youths of the Niger-Delta area of Nigeria during the Warri
mayhem of 2003. The incident was headlining News in the CNN for many days.
Since my father?s death, I have been facing series of problems in the hands
of his only brother, my uncle having lost my Australian mother Mrs Violet
Adams, 3 years ago to breast cancer. Reason is that I am not part of the
family and that I am a foreigner because of my mother?s nationality. He
has sold all my late fathers property and even wants me dead so that he
will take everything to himself.
Recently, as I was going through my late father?s files, I found a very
important document, a Deposit Certificate, which was used to deposit the
sum of $5million (Five Million United States Dollars) in a Security Company
here. I also found other documents that showed that this was money he made
through a contract deal for the supply of equipments for the Turn Around
Maintenance (TAM) of Warri Refinery Nigeria. As it stands now, only me know
about this secret deposit as I have the original deposit certificate and
and I am confused on what to do.
In the light of the above, I will like you to assist me urgently in the
transfer and investment of this money in your country, as I will give you
all the information needed for the smooth conclusion of the transfer. At
the end, I plan to come over to your country to continue my education and
subsequent investment of the funds. I will give you 20% commission, which
is still negotiable for your assistance, and any expense incured by you
in the course of the transfer will be duly refunded.
I could have gone to the security company myself but they will not deal
with me because of the amount involved and if I go to the Australian Embassy
for help, they will only take me back to Australia and that will mean my
leaving the money behind and I don?t want that to happen.
This is why I run to you for urgent assistance as my uncle is now watching
me closely and monitoring my movements.
Save me from this suffering. Imagine if I were your son?
