"419" Scam – Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam

The so-called "419" scam is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the scam are promised a large amount of money, such as a lottery prize, inheritance, money sitting in some bank account, etc.

Victims never receive this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals, who remain anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and fake postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.

Keep in mind that scammers DO NOT use their real names when defrauding people.
The criminals either abuse names of real people or companies or invent names or addresses.
Any real people or companies mentioned below have NO CONNECTION to the scammers!

Dear sir,

My name is Mr Alex Oko, I am 26 years old, from
Sierra leone,West Africa. I need your urgent
assistance to help me process the shipment of my
treasure out from Dakar - Senegal to your Country. My
parents had a local Mine field back home in Sierra
leone. But the Rebels took over the mines field
during the civil war, at the moment all mines field
has been confiscated by the government. However, my
late parents managed to deposit their treasure in a
wahakila safe keeping with a Senegal based asset
management firm and registered it as personal effect.
And made me their next of kin over the deposit. They
disclosed to me before their death where they kept the
prove of asset document covering it and also mentioned
that the content is gold dust and rough diamonds.

I am seriously in great need of your assistance to
help me secure this treasure, sale it and have the
proceed invested with your help as my partner. I will
send you the Documents covering this treasure once I
am 100% sure that you are willing to help me without
betraying or cheating me. I need your assurance on
this because I do not know how to go about the sale of
this treasure and I do not want to disclose it to
people around me here because here is not my country
and I do not have anybody I can trust down here. I am
26 years and the only surviving member of my family.
Therefore, I am always careful with how I relata with
people knowing how my parents were betrayed by someone
they trusted most back home.

I will also give you more details on how you can
help me to secure the treasure and have it shipped out
to your safe custody after we have reached and signed
a binding agreement based on the release procedure the
holding firm mentioned to me.

Your sincerely

Alex Oko
